FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Yesterday, wind gusts maxed out between 35-48mph, with the highest gust reported being 48mph in Fort Wayne. Winds should calm down a bit today, with max gusts expected around 35mph under mostly cloudy skies. Most rain should stay north of Fort Wayne today, but a few showers could creep down into the area tomorrow.

Winds will calm down into the day tomorrow as we start to dry out and slowly warm up towards the end of the week. Despite the slow rise in our afternoon highs, morning lows and wind chills will drop to near freezing to end the week.
