Fatality reported in early morning crash at I

(Seguin) — One man is dead, and two others were hospitalized following a major crash early this (Wednesday morning) at the intersection of State Highway 123 Bypass and Interstate 10.

According to Stephanie Larrimore, the Seguin Police Department’s community engagement officer, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 6:36 a.m. after reports of a serious collision involving multiple vehicles.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that a white Hino straight truck traveling westbound on IH 10 left the roadway and fell onto the northbound lanes of State Highway 123 Bypass,” stated Larrimore. “The truck struck a gray sedan and then landed on a red sedan, both traveling northbound.”
