Detroit police are asking for the public’s help identifying a nonverbal older man whose identity has remained unknown for about seven months.
Police said that on the morning of March 18, officers took the unidentified man, who suffers from mental illness, to Henry Ford Hospital.
"Numerous attempts were made by the hospital staff to locate a relative or guardian," according to a DPD news release. Those attempts have not been successful.
Police described the man as about 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black and gray hair.
