Interplay Script Club, a project of Interplay Jewish Theatre, which was founded in 2011 by Cleveland playwright Faye Sholiton, will co-present a conversation on “The Silent Exile” from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Maltz Museum at 2929 Richmond Road in Beachwood.

The club will examine and discuss “The Silent Exile,” which was written by Iranian Jewish playwright Kuros Charney and takes place between 1966 and 2006. It follows a Cuban family, most of which has resettled from Cuba to Miami, and is grappling with the effects of choosing to be exiled over living under tyranny. It explores the anger, passion, happiness, grit and regret that each character feels throughout the course of the narrative.
