CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Charleston County arrested a Johns Island man Tuesday for alleged child sex crimes.

James Andrew Siebold, 52, is charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor in the second degree and six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree.

Investigators with Homeland Security Investigations and the Mount Pleasant Police Department assisted the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office in searching Siebold’s home.

Authorities found evidence of child sexual abuse material during the search.

Siebold remains in custody at the Al Cannon Detention Center, although jail records show he has posted bond. He was granted an $85,000 bond for all charges.

U.S. Marshals helped apprehend Siebold.
