ATLANTA — A large brush fire is causing traffic delays along the Buford Spring Connector in Atlanta on Tuesday.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the fire is located on SR 13, the Buford Spring Connector, Northbound past Piedmont Rd.

This fire comes as the National Weather Service recently issued a Fire Danger Statement for northeast and central Georgia on Wednesday due to gusty winds and low relative humidity.

Although Fulton County, where the fire is located, is not under fire danger, the air is still very dry and could make conditions worse.
