New Balance has launched a new program aimed at accommodating consumers with disabilities, limb loss or foot size discrepancies.
Dubbed the “mismatch sizing program,” the initiative centers around the brand’s Made in USA Fresh Foam 1540v4 sneaker and allows consumers to purchase two different shoe sizes for the right and left foot or just one single shoe.
Craig Heisner, senior director for wellness and verticals at New Balance , told FN in an interview that the company chose this specific sneaker to launch this program due to being one of New Balance’s “most supportive and premium models.”
