ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson and third baseman Austin Riley were named National League Silver Slugger award finalists on Wednesday.

Olson is up against Los Angeles Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman and New York Mets’ Pete Alonso as the three NL Silver Slugger finalists, while Riley, San Diego Padres’ Manny Machado and Los Angeles Dodgers’ Max Muncy are the three NL third base finalists.

The award is given to the best offensive players at each position in each league, as voted by coaches and managers.

The winners will be revealed on Nov. 6.
