Fairfield Eagles and Lady Eagles competed in the Region II Cross Country meet held in Huntsville on Monday morning, October 20, 2025.

John Kuzmich placed 4th overall in the 3A Region III 5000m (5K) race with a time of 16:36.60 and he will advance to the UIL State Meet!

The Lady Eagles finished 7th overall in the 3200m (2-mile) race.

Addison Shipley earned 20th place with a time of 13:17 and she is also advancing to the UIL State Meet.

The UIL State Cross Country Meet will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, Texas. 3A Girls Race begins at 8:15 a.m. and the 3A Boys Race starts at 8:45 a.m.
