Draymond Green couldn’t resist poking fun at LeBron James after the Warriors’ 119–109 season-opening win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Speaking to reporters postgame, Green joked that James’ "old ass was over there in his Phil Jackson chair," referring to the custom, high-backed seat the legendary coach used later in his career.

Jackson, now 80, underwent two hip replacement surgeries in the span of eight months while coaching the Lakers in the mid-2000s. The tall chair became a staple at the 6-foot-8 coach's games.

Sciatica kept James on the sideline for the first opening night of his career. The 39-year-old appeared to stay still on the bench, limiting his movement as he eyes a mid-November comeback.

The Warriors, meanwhile, took full advantage of his absence.
