LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — Lake Oswego's Parks & Recreation Department has released a report documenting the level of public activity at Oswego Lake during the first summer since the city began allowing public access.

The majority of the lake's perimeter is private residential property, and the city maintained a longtime prohibition on public access through all city-owned parks, meaning lake access was effectively restricted to lakeside residents or people with access easements through the Lake Corporation, the consortium of lakeside owners that manages the lake.
