KANSAS CITY, Mo. — AT&T announced Tuesday a new cell site in Platte City, Missouri that improves coverage and capacity around Branch Street and I-29, east of Platte County High School, to improve first responder response time.

The new site gives more first responders access to connectivity when and where they need it to protect and serve their community, AT&T said in a news release.

Representatives from AT&T joined Platte City Mayor Steve Hoeger, local first responders and community leaders in Platte City on Tuesday to celebrate the new site.
