GARNER, Iowa — North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) will begin offering High School Equivalency (HSE) classes in Garner on October 29.

These classes will take place at the Garner Education Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The program is tailored for adults aged 17 and older who did not complete high school and wish to earn their diploma.

Instruction will cover Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Once students are prepared, they will take the HiSET™, a high school equivalency exam. Successful graduates can attend NIACC’s Education to Employment Graduation Ceremony, held in January and June.
