Suffolk police are investigating the stabbing of a teenager in Copiague, the department said.
Around 3 p.m. Wednesday, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in front of a home on Pacific Street, police said. The teen was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries considered serious but not life-threatening.
