RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The 2025 Raleigh Wide Open Music Festival welcomed 155,000 people from October 3-4 which is a record when it comes to attendance for the event.

It was a weekend filled with music, food, art, and community.

The weekend kicked off with a celebration event on Thursday, Oct. 2, at North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus.

The two-day festival featured 40 bluegrass, Americana, gospel, and folk performers on four free outdoor stages. As well as a ticketed headline show at Red Hat Amphitheater.

People who came enjoyed local food trucks, craft beer, art vendors, and interactive experiences throughout downtown Raleigh.
