A man who bolted from Mandurah police to avoid a breathalyser while on bail will be walking for the next few years after his licence was suspended on Friday.

Louis Alexander Brown pleaded guilty to charges, including two counts of obstructing public officers, failing to provide a sample of breath, failing to comply with a requirement of a police officer and two counts of failing to provide a sample of oral fluid.

Police prosecutor Sen. Sgt Jessica Anderson told the court police saw a car being driven by Louis Alexander Brown swerving between lanes on Mandurah Road at 11.05pm on July 10.

Police indicated for Brown to pull over and after a short time, he pulled into the carpark at Mandurah Licensing Centre.
