FAMU men’s basketball coach Charlie Ward is as respected as they come. The Seminole legend from a family of Rattlers in Thomasville bridges the gaps better than anyone around the region.

“I think it’s just a great opportunity for both universities and the city to be able to come together.”

So in that spirit, it’s no surprise he’d be the one to spearhead bringing Florida A&M and Florida State men’s basketball back together.
