The Mahagathbandhan is expected to hold a joint press conference today as disagreements over seat sharing continue ahead of the first phase of the Bihar elections. Reports suggest that the Grand Alliance is likely to name Tejashwi Yadav as its chief ministerial candidate.
To calm tensions within the group, the Congress leadership sent senior party leader Ashok Gehlot to Patna on Wednesday.
