SANFORD, Fla. – A man wanted in a murder case out of Riviera Beach earlier this year was finally caught in Sanford, according to law enforcement.
In a release, Riviera Beach police said that the man — identified as Alphonso Lingo, 30 — was wanted for the shooting death of 61-year-old Lorenzo Pugh on the morning of Aug. 21.

At the time, police had responded to a 911 hang-up call and found Pugh inside the home, officers said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
After investigators pinned Lingo as the suspect, an arrest warrant was issued in September, though it was believed he was hiding out in Central Florida, the release shows.
But early Wednesday morning, police announced that Lingo was finally tracked to Sanford, where he was ultimately arrested at the Seminole
