Anthony Albanese’s return home from his US meeting with Donald Trump spiralled into chaos following an incident outside his Sydney residence.

The Prime Minister spent more time in the air than he did on the ground to visit Donald Trump at the White House during a whirlwind two-day official trip.

Mr Albanese arrived at Kirribilli House shortly before 1pm, with his beloved dog Toto seen in the car.

But his triumphant return home was marked by chaos when an incident unfolded outside the home.

A man was spotted speaking with police and being patted down by officers outside the PM’s home on Thursday afternoon before paramedics arrived.

No arrests were made, and it’s understood the incident may have been mental health related.

The man was taken to hospital in a police vehicle.
