(WFSB) - Police departments across the state will collect prescription drugs residents no longer need to prevent them from ending up in the wrong hands.

Saturday is National Take Back Day, a nationwide event run by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The event is anonymous and participants won’t need to answer questions about the medications they bring.
