Miami police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into a 13-year-old's bedroom earlier this week.

The incident was reported just before 4 a.m. Tuesday near the 4800 block of NW 10 Avenue. According to police, the girl woke up to a man inside her room wearing all black and a ski mask. He left before police arrived.

Police said they believe the man entered through an unlocked window. No arrests have been made.

Miami police said the case will move forward through forensic evidence, including fingerprints and possible DNA left behind by the burglar.
