Leo Pecover still "needs time" after making his Bristol City debut against Southampton, according to Gerhard Struber, but the Reds boss was quick to credit the "cheeky" youngster for his maiden display at Ashton Gate.

The teenager was a second-half substitute as the Robins ended a four-match winless run at home with a 3-1 win over the Saints on Tuesday evening . Anis Mehmeti's fifth goal of the season and a second-half Scott Twine brace ensured City came from behind to climb up to fourth in the Championship.
