(KFVS) - An area of high pressure will continue to keep the Heartland under a sunny and dry pattern today.

It is a little cool this morning with temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Areas of patchy frost are likely this morning and tomorrow morning.

A few more clouds will roll in for the weekend, followed by rain chances.

As of now, rain chances are low for Friday and Saturday, but not zero.

Sunday is trending wetter with more rain chances to follow for the first half of next week.

Temperatures through the weekend remain around the average mark with highs in the mid to upper 60s and lows in the 40s.
