Moodbidri, Oct 23: A postcard campaign was organised on Thursday by the Advocates’ Association, Municipality, Moodbidri Press Club, and local citizens, urging the state government to establish a High Court bench in Mangaluru.

Municipality president Jayshree Keshav inaugurated the campaign by dropping the first postcard into the collection box. Speaking at the event, senior lawyer and founder president of the Advocates’ Association, M Bahubali Prasad, said, “Mangaluru plays a vital role among the rapidly growing cities along the coast. About 10 lac people from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, and Chikkamagaluru districts face difficulties in accessing legal services.
