Killington PD warns about vehicle thefts in the area

KILLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Killington police are recommending that members of the public take precautions after two reported vehicle theft incidents occurred recently

Local authorities reported earlier this week that they had worked on investigations involving two stolen vehicles. They also received word about a larceny complaint, which claimed that a vehicle had been "rummaged through".

Both vehicles were recovered, but investigations are ongoing.

Officers wrote online that community members should lock their car doors. They also recommend removing keys and anything deemed valuable from the vehicle.
