BROOKLYN, Ohio

Suspicious situation, Ridge Road: On Sept. 23, dispatch received a 911 call from a Ridge Road business; however, the caller wouldn’t say what the issue was.

An arriving officer talked to the caller, who it turned out was just looking for a ride home.

During the conversation, the Cleveland woman became irate and was cited for both disorderly conduct and also telephone emergency abuse.

Identity theft, Newberry Drive: On Sept. 24, a Newberry Drive resident came to the police after discovering someone fraudulently attempted to withdraw funds from their account at a Pennsylvania bank branch location.

The man said he was just notified about the identity theft incident.

There are no suspects.

Police are investigating.
