NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — Norwich police say no injuries were reported when a single bullet fired inside a local home struck a neighboring home Wednesday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Boswell Avenue around 7:40 p.m., for report of shots fired in the area.

On scene, they found evidence consistent with gunfire and determined it was an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.

The incident remains under investigation by the Norwich Police Department Detective Division.
