2LISBON, Wis. – A 26-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after authorities say she struck two children riding a minibike on a Waukesha County roadway Saturday evening, leaving one of them critically injured.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. on October 18 in the Village of Lisbon, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said 26-year-old Zuyelmar Barrios Alvarez , who recently moved to Wisconsin, was driving a car that struck an 11-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl who were riding together on a minibike.
