An Aberdeen charity dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex additional support needs is looking to raise £2million to build a new sustainable bakery.

The new, purpose-built facility in Bieldside will replace the current bakery and confectionery, which requires urgent upgrades and is too small to meet the growing needs of the community.

It has been designed to meet the charity’s sustainability ambitions and to better support the daily lives of its residents, who choose to be known as ‘villagers’.
