Drivers have been facing major delays in the Peterculter and Milltimber areas of Aberdeen due to ongoing roadworks at a crucial junction.

Temporary traffic lights on the North Deeside Road over the bypass, the B979 and the AWPR slip road have led to huge queues of traffic during peak hours, with drivers waiting up to an hour at the junction.

The works are due to continue until 5pm on Saturday, November 1, as teams continue a rolling programme of underground cable works and fix any potential duct blockages.

Motorists have since faced lengthy waits to cross the bypass, with buses also held up in queues at the lights.
