Shirley Ballas has said she has been left 'heartbroken' by the news that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will leave Strictly Come Dancing this year.
The show's head judge was among the stars of the popular programme - both past and present - responding to the shock announcement from the presenters on Thursday (October 23).
The pair’s last appearance together on the show will be its pre-recorded Christmas special, which will air on December 25, after their last live appearance in the ballroom during the final of the BBC One dance contest's 2025 series on December 20.
Tess, 56, presented the series when it first launched in 2004 alongside the late Sir Bruce Forsyth, while Claudia, 53, fronted its weekday companion show, It Takes Two.
