Pride of Britain viewers praised a ‘very brave’ 15-year-old Barbie super-fan as her dream came true after meeting Margot Robbie.

This year’s event was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday night (October 21), with ITV viewers seeing how the night unfolded on Thursday (October 23).

Organised in partnership with the Daily Mirror, TSB Bank, Lidl, ITV, Good Morning Britain, and The Prince's Trust, the ceremony has been held every year since 1999.

Back on presenting duties was Carol Vorderman, who has hosted every single ceremony, and Diversity’s Ashley Banjo, who made his debut as her co-host last year.

One award that left viewers feeling emotional was the Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser award, which was presented by Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway
