NEWARK, Del (KTRE) - Former Timpson Bear Hunter Tipton scored his second touchdown of the season in Middle Tennessee’s 31-28 loss to Delaware on Wednesday night.

The senior’s touchdown came in the third quarter.

Tipton finished with five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. Tipton capped off a 5-play, 39-yard drive with an 11-yard catch to pull the Blue Raiders to within three at 24-21.

Middle Tennessee (1-6, 0-3) will host Jacksonville State on Oct. 29.
