SHELBYVILLE, Texas (KTRE) - Following a big district win over Timpson last week, the Shelbyville Dragons are looking to make a playoff push in a very competitive district.

Shelbyville Head Coach Jered Wallace spoke with KTRE Sports Director Ryan Smith on the Red Zone Preview show. Wallace says even with a losing record, the team’s morale has been high.

“Our schedule the whole time, everything’s been really close, and we haven’t found a way to win in a few of those games,” Wallace said. “They’ve been carrying a lot of positive energy coming into practice and working really hard every day.”

Shelbyville heads to San Augustine to face the Wolves (5-2, 2-0) on Friday.
