Strathcona County is celebrating the spooky season by gifting one-day passes to students from kindergarten to Grade 12 to any of the County’s recreational facilities.

The tickets are valid until October 31 of 2026.

Strathcona County has multiple family-oriented activities for the Halloween Season, including “Haunted” at the Strathcona Wilderness Centre and an afternoon of Halloween Fun at the Ardrossan recreation centre.

The County will be distributing the tickets through schools once the teacher’s strike has been resolved. Homeschooled students can pick up their pass at the Recreation Administration Building (2025 Oak Street, Sherwood Park) from October 27 to November 7 during office hours.
