The 11th-seeded Carlisle field hockey team advanced to the District 3 Class 3A quarterfinals with a 3-2 Wednesday night victory over sixth-seeded Dallastown.

Abby Vaugnn led the Carlisle offensive attack with two goals and an assist. Delana Karhnak also scored for the Thundering Herd.
