YOUNGSTOWN A Youngstown driver whose license was suspended was cited following a rear-end collision with a city bus on Wednesday afternoon while his daughter and son were passengers in his car.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m., near Mahoning Avenue and Oak Hill Avenue. A WRTA bus was stopped at a red light when it was struck from behind. The bus sustained minor rear damage.
The driver of the car, Randall Davis, told police he was driving his Chevrolet Impala eastbound on Mahoning Avenue but "was not looking straight ahead" when he hit the bus. Davis’s car sustained heavy front-end damage, and its airbags deployed. His daughter was in the front passenger seat, and his son was in the rear passenger seat.
