HUDSON YARDS, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A construction worker is in critical condition after falling more than 100 feet from a building into a construction hole at Hudson Yards on Thursday morning, according to the fire department.

The worker was found at the bottom of a 60-foot construction hole near 12th Avenue and 30th Street around 8:53 a.m., fire officials say. He appeared to have fallen from at least 50 feet up the building, EMS Chief Aiello said.
