LUBBOCK, Texas-- Kendrick "Skrilla" Taylor, 23, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Lawrence Brantley on August 18. An affidavit obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Thursday morning revealed the timeline of events that occurred back in August.

EverythingLubbock.com previously reported that a shooting occurred in the 1900 block of 41st Street around 4:00 a.m. on August 18. Officers on patrol heard several gunshots and screams coming from the area, which led them to find an individual lying in a yard. This person was later identified as Brantley, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
