The band formed in Seattle by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl has gone on to become one of the biggest rock acts in contemporary music. Since releasing its self-titled debut in 1995, the group has put out 11 albums. The most recent record was 2023s But Here We Are.

To date the band has 15 Grammy Awards to its credits, making it one of the most awarded rock acts in Grammy history. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, which was the group’s first year to be eligible for entry to the institution. The band has sold in excess of 32 million albums since forming.
