New York Attorney General Letitia James is launching a new portal that will allow residents to share photos and videos of federal immigration actions.

The state’s “ Federal Action Reporting Form ” provides spaces to submit images and video of immigration raids, as well as a place to provide location information, according to The Guardian .

“Every New Yorker has the right to live without fear or intimidation,” James said in a statement, according to The Guardian. “We are committed to reviewing these reports and assessing any violations of law.”

The launch of the portal comes after a high-profile Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid on Canal Street in New York City, according to The Hill .

That raid attracted pushback from residents in the area, according to Reuters . Protest
