NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help tracking a missing woman to make sure she is safe.

The Sheriff’s Office took the report October 22, 2025, about Catherine W. Bowen, 30. Her family filed the report.

The Sheriff’s Office says Bowen, who is about 5′3″, last spoke with her immediate family Monday, October 13, while she was working for the Seven Stars Music Festival in Arrington, Virginia.

Investigators say they believe Bowen is traveling in a red, 2006 Ford Escape with Virginia registration“AEW-1073″.

The Sheriff’s Office says, “Our Office has spoken with multiple friends and acquaintances of Ms. Bowen, who report that she is ‘OK’ and not in any danger; however, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office has not yet confirmed this from Ms. Bowen her
