CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — A man was arrested Thursday after leading members of law enforcement on a chase along U.S. 50 in Clarksburg, according to Acting U.S. Marshal Terry Moore.
Chad Berry, 37, was seen leaving a residence by deputy U.S. marshals who were looking for him on a federal supervised release violation petition out of the Martinsburg office of the Marshal Service.
Berry got into a Kia Sorento, which law enforcement attempted to pull over on U.S. 50 near the Second Street exit in Clarksburg. The pursuit ended about two miles past the Wilsonburg Road exit after deputy sheriffs deployed stop sticks.
The Sorento and a sheriff’s department vehicle were involved in a collision.
