Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will make their final Strictly Come Dancing appearance on this year's Christmas special, it has been confirmed.

The presenting duo have announced they are to leave the BBC programme at the end of the current series, which is currently in full swing.

And the corporation has revealed that the pair will bow out following the festive special of the show that will air on Christmas Day (December 25).

However, with the festive special being pre-recorded, their actual last live appearance in the famous Strictly ballroom will be during Strictly 2025's final, currently set for December 20.
