NORFOLK, Neb. —

Norfolk police arrested a 30-year-old man who was allegedly acting suspiciously near Norfolk High School.

Authorities said Gordon Davidson was observed near or on school grounds multiple times Wednesday afternoon.

A school resource officer chased him off the property and police later tracked him down.

Officers found a knife and two glass pipes in his backpack; one of them tested positive for methamphetamine, Norfolk police said.

Davidson is facing several charges.
