UNION COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- An assistant baseball coach at an Upstate high school was arrested following an investigation conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
Union County court records show that Nicholas Bryan Turner, 29, was arrested Thursday for charges of criminal solicitation of a minor and third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Turner was an assistant baseball coach at Union County High School.
A spokesperson with Union County Schools said the district was made aware of the allegations against Turner when the SLED investigation began. Turner was subsequently placed on administrative leave.
