ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A grant program to help Albuquerque small businesses impacted by vandalism is once again accepting applications.
The city-run program will reimburse businesses up to 80% of the total cost of window replacement or repair, with a maximum reimbursement of $3,000 per business. An additional $1,000 is available for projects that incorporate environmentally sustainable “green” glass or security glass for a possible total of $4,000 per business.
“By addressing window damage promptly, we can help ensure that our city remains both a safe and supportive place to do business,” said Senior Economic Developer Frankie Hermosillo in a news release. “We’re always looking for ways to adapt to the needs of our small business community and get them the help they need.”
