On Monday, Statistics Canada released its Industrial Product Price Index for September, tracking price changes for major commodities across the country. It showed that the cost of meat, fish and dairy products soared 11.34 per cent from the same period last year, up sharply from a modest 1.7 per cent rise a year earlier.
