NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The Shubert Theatre is opening its doors to local families for a series of workshops as part of its education and engagement programs.

Free family workshops will be offered for parents and kids, ages 3-10, at New Haven's Stetson and Mitchell Libraries.

"My job is access -- and while we're always trying to get people to come here to the Shubert, this program was created in part because we can't get everybody here, and so we wanted to be able to bring something to them," Kelly Wuzzardo said, the director of education and engagement at the Shubert Theatre.

Organizers say each workshop will be based on the themes of family shows that will come to the Shubert during its 2025-26 season.
